My wife and I have had a 4-night stay at this J Hotel Rinku Room #814 from 21 to 25 October 2025.||The Hotel is located next to the Rinku Tokoname Station (which is only a short 5-minute local train ride to and from the Chubu Centrair International Airport) in the small Tokoname City, which is about 45 kilometres to the Nagoya City via a 45-minute ¥860 train ride. ||The Hotel is also about a 300-metre walk to a big 2-storey Aeon Mall Tokoname that houses the Aeon Style Mall and Supermarket, many nice Japanese restaurants, and a good variety of shops that sell fashion and sport wears. It is a must-go for people who love to shop in Aeon Mall.||The 11-storey Hotel does not look new but it is certainly not old and rundown. In fact, it is clean and well maintained. It has a peaceful and quiet surrounding. The hotel staff are polite and helpful, and they are able to communicate in English. It also provides free parking for hotel guests at a first-come-first serve basis. So we are grateful and thankful that we had enjoy free parking for 4 days!||The hotel room is NOT the standard typical small room type; in fact it is surprisingly spacious and very clean. It has a proper small wardrobe, a proper vanity top, a proper bath and shower room that is separated from the WC, and it has strong water pressure for comfortable showers everyday. Although the bed is not too big, but the mattress and pillows are comfortable for our liking. And, we were given room with a nice sea view!||The Hotel provides daily breakfast buffets with reasonably good varieties, so it does provide us a good start each day. ||At SGD S$135 per night for a spacious room with breakfast, we find it value for money and we will surely choose to stay here if we travel to Nagoya again.

I booked this hotel to stay overnight prior to our flight out of Nagoya and I am so glad that I did.

The hotel is located at Rinku Tokoname station, the last station before the train crosses over to Nagoya Chubu Central airport. Perfect location for those who have an early morning flight and want to get to the airport early. Quiet area, there isn't much around except for an Aeon mall right across the street where you can buy last minute souvenirs or get dinner.

I am not sure if we got an upgrade but the room was humongous by Japanese standards. We even had a king sized bed, a separate bath and shower and wing chairs. The staff was friendly and attentive and dressed almost like air stewardesses. Breakfast was included and it was a decent spread.

I definitely recommend it as a layover hotel before flying off.

The hotel is new and clean, so as the room which is also very spacious. Staff are nice, helpful and can communicate in English. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is close to Aeon Mall and airport and has car park, so it’s a good choice to stay at before the departure day. It’s also just a 10-min drive to the ceramic market, a highly recommended place to visit at Tokoname. The breakfast provided is average.

Love this hotel. It’s just 2 minute-walk to AEON mall Tokoname and only 1-stop by train to the clay pottery village.

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff are very professional and friendly. The room has a good comfy layout. Internet connection is fast - YouTube and Netflix are all good with the internet speed. 10-15 minute-walk to the beach ☺️

Breakfast buffet line is good. Curry is not to be missed 🥰

Aside from the room lighting which could be improved, the hotel staff were very professional and very friendly, the location was excellent right next to the train station, and the breakfast was plentiful. Truly enjoyed my stay.

The staff of this hotel is very nice and kind. Very good service. The hotel room is nice as well. Good bath room and sanitary ware. Not big room but not small either. Nice location everything is perfect. Definitely come again for next Nagoya trip ❤️❤️❤️

Excellent location, 3 mins walk from Rinku Tokoname station and Aeon Tokoname Mall. 15 mins walk from Rinku Beach. Spacious room and toilet and bath. A bit aged but clean. Seaview room with enormous window. Pola products in washroom. Breakfast included in room charge but if you have to pay separately, not recommended. Nice staff with good english.No convenience shop nearby, have to go to Aeon Mall which open at 10am, close at 9pm. check out at 12.00. I ask for a 30 mins delay and was told that I have to pay. Very rigid Japanese rules. If they were fully booked I could understand but they were not.
