I had a very enjoyable visit to Tokyo Disney and Disneysea. The parks are designed well and the cast are very friendly and helpful. The transportation system will the monorail, buses, and nearby JR station are excellent. There is one major technology embarrassment for the parks in 2023. They do not have wifi access and the LTE/5G networks are overrun. All the navigation, understanding of the park, and guidance and priority ride reservations are based on the app but not all visitors have reliable cell phone access in the park. The management should immediately expand the guest SSID to more access points throughout the parks and set the priority to low. Then ensure the secure park operations are set to high priority. This is a very simple and low cost way to improve the guest experience. Visitors will only find limited wifi access at the gates to retrieve online passes if necessary. As an experienced network engineer for many years, this is a very simple operation and should be pursued.
